First, Thank all of you guys for the help with my heater situation. Today as I was reassembling stuff, I broke off the end of the heater control cable. It moves free, but it was at a bad angle. It's probably been ready to break for a while. I have looked everywhere, Shoebox Central used to have a kit, but no more. Does anyone know where I could find one? The number in the green book is: CONTROL ASSEMBLY 18518 Even eBay is coming up empty Any help or ideas how to work around this would be great! Thanks, Bill

Thank you, man. The ‘51 is coiled on both ends. I wonder if I can make that one work…

I bought an aftermarket choke cable, my map gas, torch, and a pair of needle, nose, pliers and I think I made one. This message was edited by wlobb on 10-3-25 @ 5:32 PM
