Topic: Turn signals

On my 46 stock coupe all three turn signals work except one of the rear, which shows parking and brake , but no turn signal..

The NAPA flasher has been installed several years and has previously worked fine.

Printed on it is "Heavy Duty Flasher - Fuse input lead"

IS there a test I can do to see if it has gone bad?

This is a tough one. Since your other directional lights and your brake lights all work, the problem must exit within your turn signal switch. A wire may have come loose within the switch or the electrical contact connected to the lever may be corroded to the point where it is not conducting the current to the rear signal light.

As carcrazy says, this is a tough one. I have a United Pacific signal system on my '46 Coupe, and here is the wiring diagram that goes with it. This may help with troubleshooting the problem. In the diagram, both brake lights are fed from the signal switch, so if both rear brake lights work, then it is possible the signal switch is the issue.

I agree. If three out of the four circuits work the issue is in the wiring between the flasher unit and that rear light.
