On my 46 coupe I am trying to remove a rear brake lens so I can replace the bulb. I need to remove the chrome trim that holds it on. Have done that many times before without any difficulty, but it's been a long while. This time I removed the set screw that holds it on, but try as I might, prying all around the trim is to no avail. I don;t recall if the clips are on each side or top and bottom Can anyone please remind me?

The tab on the top holds the bezel along with the machine screw at the bottom. The other tabs help locate or stabilize the bezel. There are three "L" shape small pieces that hold the lense in place underneath.

The ones on my "46 Coupe need to be gently pried from the housing, between the center bottom of the trim ring and the housing. I use a plastic tool to do that. Be careful to not let the glass lens fall free as mine did, and broke on the shop floor. Also there is a cork gasket that makes the seal between the lens and housing.
