I read that in the 1950 8BA engine the intake and exhaust valves are the same size. I measure my valves and the exhaust measure 1.500" but the intakes measure 1.600". Now I need new valves and don't know what to order. any ideas?

You may have to order Chevy Small Block valves and have them machined and the stems cutdown and modified to fit the Flathead engine.

To get larger intake valves in the hopes of getting better air flow and performance from the engine. This is a fairly common modification procedure among hot rodders.
