Hello Members, I'd like to start rebuilding my rear brakes and associated axle bearings, etc. As a novice mechanic I'll need a book or two to guide me through. Can anyone suggest a manual specific to the 47 1.5 ton dually??? I have no literature whatsoever... Thank You, Billy D

The best shop manual I've seen that includes truck axles, etc, is the Canadian 1939-48 book. C&G sells it as Item V-222, $60. You can see a list of such material at www.cgfordparts.com in their online catalog.
