My heater core is leaking. Does anyone know of a place who can get core material 2 1/2" thick , 7 1/2" long by 7 13/16" high and possibly put my end tanks on or be able to move the tubes on a new core assy. to match my originals. The overall length of the heater is 9". This was a new core assy. put in in the mid 1980s, had it fixed two years ago and is leaking again. Would prefer to go all new.

Try contacting a radiator shop in your area that still does radiator repair. They should be able to get a replacement core and install it in your end tanks. If you cannot find anyone local, send it to one of the guys that advertises in Hemmings. Tom
