Can any of you please help me with identification of a 4 Speed transmission that I removed from my 1941 Ford PU. When I purchased the pickup, it had a 51 Mercury Flathead V8 engine installed in it. I suspect that the transmission is also a 51 Model. I cleaned some buildup on the right side of the case and it appears to be marked as follows: 51-7006.. Just below that is DG & M . And finally under the above is the marking, N 1. The raised lettering and numbers, especially the smaller Markings are a little hard to positively make out. Please note attached picture. I’d appreciate any info you can provide. If you hav3 a sense for the value, I’d appreciate your input on that as well Thank You!!! Frank W Jones
