I'm replacing the front and rear springs on my 1950 F-1 as part of a frame off restoration. Can someone recommend a type and brand of shock for front and rear? LMC is selling KYB-Gas Adjust Shocks but they're kind of expensive.

Try Pep Boys. They had the correct, although painted the wrong color, shocks for my 1949 Ford.

Try C&G, they have shocks P.N. 7RC-18125-A that look like conventional (not gas filled) shocks available for about $35 each.
