My car is a stock 6 volt system with generator. Caught a rock in one of the Wagner 6 volt lights and researching for a replacement I see where Wagner is offering a 6v halogen light. My question is do I have enough gen power to power up a Halogen light in 6volt ? Has any one had any experience with this ? Thanks. Tracker

I don't know the wattage or current draw of the Wagner bulb. The stock headlight bulb is 50 / 40 watts with a current draw around 8 amps. There is conflicting information when I did a search on the current draw. Tom

Thanks Tom. The 6 volt Wagners I used previously were incandescent and no longer produced. A call to Wagner indicated the new H series was compatible ...we will see and I will report back. Suspect others with 6 volt systems will need to know. Tracker
