	Does the car have license plates or vehicle registration paperwork located in the glove box or elsewhere on the vehicle? If you have any of these items, you may be able to find out who owns the vehicle by contacting the DMV in the area where the vehicle is located.

	Check with the local county tax assessor. They have records of who owns the property and it is a public record. Contact the owner of the property. 	howdy senior, saw your dicussion about '49 incoln in field. this is way off base i i have to ask and explain. my passion is shoebox fords i have one from every year. i also have a passion for rare vehicles and over a year ago i purchased an '02 lincoln blackwood and have been trying to connect with other owners. there is a blackwood forum and have suggested that a blackwood registry is in order, but none sees interested. thought that if i put it out there some one may be interested. well thanks for you time and please have fun!

	Sarge, I had never heard of a Blackwood. So I did a little research. You are right about one thing. "way off base".
