I need to know if all 40 Fords had engine Radius Rods. If so I need to know if therenis andiagram showing the rodsin their correct location.

Yes, all 1940 Ford passenger cars had these rods. One end was attached through a bore in the lower - rear of the engine block. The other end was bolted to the frame. There really is no way a guy could put these in incorrectly. Attached herein is a photo depicting the forward attachment point. Hope this helps. Mike Kubarth

Thanks for the information and photos. While removing the engine I neglected to take pictures of the rods and could not remember how they went in.
