I am working on a 40 Ford brakes. The bleeder valve has a tiny screw in the center to keep dirt out I guess. Is this original for a 1940? All 4 wheels are this way. Kenneth M. Stewart

Ken, All four wheels utilized the bleeder screws you describe and yes, that's authentic. The round head screws are #10-32's. Roy Nacewicz sells both the bleeders and the correct screws and lock washers if you are in need. Mike "Kube" Kubarth

Hey Ken, I'd made my reservations for NC quite some time ago. I really enjoyed that meet last time and am looking forward to it this coming year. I've promised myself to take an extra couple of days so I can get to meet and visit with a lot of good folks I've corresponded with but never had some face to face time. Kind regards, Mike
